Eating healthy is important.
Drinking is healthy is even more important.
Therefore, it would be great if many young people stopped filling themselves up with soda, lemonades and espeically energy drinks.
Don't do energy drinks
A blog for young people and anyone else. Considering the following themes: Income (how to increase), spending (how to decrease), values (how to build character), investing (how to make something big out of something small). Specialising on young people in the western world (and their decadence).

The student loan bubble
Some time ago, I wrote why studying / getting a degree might not be such a great idea after all.
Even worst, many degrees nowadays are financed by : DEBT.
DEBT, something clearly adviced over here NOT to get in.

banking at citi - follow up
It seems to be true,
if you bank at/with citi, you are not allowed out. Like at least the bank branch in case you want to close your account.
Locked in at citi

Savings in the bank? Don't even try to pull them out or they arrest you
First of all, it's a good thing to save.
Many people don't do so, especially young people and believe some type of credit card, loan, etc. is gonna end their financial mess.
WRONG.
You cannot repay old debt by getting into new debt.
Take 10 % out of your paycheck and you will be fine.
But there is another point of importance:
Think where to invest:
Turns out putting your money into a citibank account may not be the most intellegent thing to do
By the way, in the right square there is some real money to get.
Nobody will arrest you.

What happened to Ron Paul and the media?
There is one guy named Ron Paul.
He is totally ignored in the media.
He has some clear positions.
He knows what he wants and stands for.
And what not.
Could that be the problem for media and campaign contributers (read: bribes and payoffs)?
See it for yourself

The college degree thing
If you ask me, college education is completely overvalued in the western world.
It's expensive, inefficient, and, even worst, everybody wants to have it.
Once these factors show up I always tend to ask myself:
Could it be that the "asset" shown here is "overvalued"?
I believe it might be much more useful to learn something you can do with your hands, a k a dirty work, just because nobody seems to be willing to do it any more.
That's what I consider an undervalued asset.
a student loan article which might support my theory

A word about spending
Young people spend too much - period.
Further, they spend money for unbelievable useless stuff instead of buying something that really lasts.
Plus, they are extremely easy influenced by external marketers.
By the way, did you guys know all US cell phone numbers will go public this months?
That means, you are telemarketers best friend in the future unless you register your cell number on a so called blocked phone numbers lists.
On such a list, the blocked number stays 5 (five) years.
Get the central number to call and the required steps here
It's really easy. It will be easing out on your wallet much more.

You are what you eat
One thing is quite clear, we have some obesty problems in pretty much every western country (and some others, too).
Simply eating less and exercising more would be a solution.
Eating the same just labeled as light and sugar free might not.

Some Investment insiders knowledge:
In todays world, pretty much nothing is certain.
Everything flows, change is constant. However, it is important for you to be able to position yourself properly in order to obtain some results from your investment.
One way to do so are Kontradieff cycles:
You know what these cycles are? Congrats.
If you don't, you shold read this interview:

Some conspiracy considering the banks?
Some blog post I found around the internet considering the situation of European banks.
There is (possibly) some political conspiracy involved, nevertheless I think the discription of the EURO bank situaiton is quite accurate. It would fit the prohecy provided by Mr. Robert Shapiro, whom I covered here as well.
Next European Banks to face collaps will be british?

Could there be something wrong with our health system?
I'm speaking of the so called developed countries health system after all.
We are taking more medicine daily.
We become unhappier daily.
Something is clearly wrong, but we are not able to identify it.
On the other hand, with peoples' liberation towards the internet (I consider it the only entirely free media source which still exists),
back to basics seems to have a stand as well.

Why Fukushima may cause long term problems beyond our understanding
We know what happened at March 11 2011 in Japan.
Well, at least we think we know.
I actually believe we know noting.
Not what really happened.
Even worst, we do not know what really is going to follow.
Like long term results.

Worldwide financial meltdown in two to three weeks?
Is it just Lehman 2008 all over again?
In my opinion, it could be worst:
All western countries have more or less tried to guarentee for some sort of bank deposits.
This time, the banks are not only broke, but the countries who underwrote the guaranties are as well.
It might be time to run for the hills.
It's gonna be an economically hot fall 2011.

Could cascading defaults be next ?
As you guys know, I believe we are about to leave the eye of the economic hurricane rather soon.
Probably it will happen next week.
Belgium bank causing cross default all over the world?
We will see what happens, but one thing is for sure to me:
The game is basically over, system change about to set in.
Fasten your seat belts, please.
By the way, how can you protect yourself from such type of storm?
In my opinion, PHYSICAL precious metals are the only way.
PHYSICAL = in your own posession, not some paper claim somebody else hands you out.

Why men are not acting like men but like mice
They dress like crap.
They walk around with their smartphone.
They don't know how to open a door for a lady.
They don't have the slightest clue what's going on.
Men have been reengineered.
Now they are women.
Not only are they broke,
they have lost a good sense of dignity as well.
Sophie Heath puts it down correctly
By the way, rescue is near:
Once we will leave the eye of the economic storm we are currently in (entered the storm at the end of 2007, the eye in fall 2009, about to leave eye soon, collateral damage included), those with no standing will be blown away. Women as well.
Stand by your man. If he still is one.

Why slow and steady wins the race.
In my opinion, we are becoming a get-rich-quick society.
Nobody wants to work slow and steady from the bottom to the top.
We are bombarded with scams all over the place.
On the other hand, everyone believes you put some website together, google, facebook, yahoo, you name it comes along, buys you out and that's it.
Millionaire, zipping margaritas, all that stuff.
It might work for a chosen few, not for the masses.
Microsoft paid 8.5 Billion US-$ for a company which is making few money
In my opinion, they simply overpaid for skype. The concept is great, but I do not see a value of 8.5 billion in it.
But there is another thing aside from all this which people barely pay attention to:
This whole system is coming down.
Credit as well.
All these expensive overtakes of companies barely making money by huge conglomerates who do will stop.
Why?
No credit.
Money will be extremely tight.
Companies are not going to have such large cash reserves they do today.
CEOs will not compete with each other for having the largest company and/or takeover.
They mostly will compete for survival in a local environment.

Why it might be not such a great idea to move abroad
We are hearing it all the time:
The US is done, there are no jobs, try to move to Latin America, overseas, etc.
There is one problem with this concept, especially for young people:
1. The next crisis will be worldwide and probably set in rather simultaneously (some places will be less affected, that's for sure).
2. Nobody will accept you unless you bring some money or income to the table and/or do not take away your guest countries' jobs.
To make it clear: DO NOT MOVE unless you have a fixed job opportunity lined up, a business which can be managed from pretty much everywhere (for instance depending on the internet) or fixed/passive income from other sources which do not need your constant presence.
Another thing you should not underestimate:
People and their behaviour:
Traffic jams in Sao Paulo
They tend to be different in other parts of the world. For good reasons. However, we are not used to them, they are not used to us. Problems will present, misunderstandings might happen, (expensive) mistakes might be produced.
Don't forget the Visa thing as well. Almost all countries I know outside of the western world enforce their immigration laws in a rather strict way.
By the way, I live in central Mexico. I believe I know a thing or two about living in a foreign country. And different people's characters which can produce some really expensive mistakes.
My tip: Before moving to another country completely, try to live there for at least 3 months on a budget like the average local.
If you still like it, move.
If not, you know where you do not belong.
Many people reach that conclusion far too late. Sometimes when it's too late.

My generation - the worst ever?
When looking around in the US at my age peers, sometimes I get really scared:
First of all, they dress like crap,
Furthermore, the majority has nothing important to say.
In my opinion, they live a football-beer-college-smartphone-nonsense-promiscuity induced coma.
Millions of people from developing country might line up sooner or later and take away even more jobs.
What do these young men and women do?
NOTHING!
They continue studying, amassing student loan debt, getting MBAs and other degrees in worthlessness.
Other options? Of course: American Idol, America's Next top model, X factor, Dancing with the stars, MTV host, government employee, government agency employee.
An (ex?) mafioso calling for red alert on my generation
Here is a tip of mine:
Learn something with your hands that can't be outsourced.
Become a really good plumbing expert, carpenter, etc. . There is no H1B Visa for such things.
However, you will be forced to get dirt on your hands. Better now than never.

My generation: Why are we in this mess (why are we broke?)
Everybody feels something's been going wrong for a while?
Why is that so?
It's rather simple, we are broke. At least in the western world, but the rest is not far behind.
Buy why are we?
My take:
We are not producing anything any longer. Quality USA jobs have been shipped to China, Mexico, India, etc.
Have you guys ever taken a look at the products you buy?
Does anything say MADE IN USA anymore?
Why is that so?
Gerald Celente might have an idea on tech ticker
The whole interview is quite worth watching, around 4:00 starts the manufacturing base part.

Introduction
Who am I?
Call me Mr. X., or better Mr. B..
Fortunately, I'm not broke.
Unfortunately, my generation is.
Even worst, we might be very well on the brink of a deep economic collapse.
I consider it my job to keep the public informed about recent developments considering this collapse,
giving some advice, especially about income, spending, values, investment.
I consider myself somehow prepared for what is coming.
However, that's not the case with the rest of my generation.
Some big changes are ahead.
Yours truly, Mr. B.
