Why slow and steady wins the race.

In my opinion, we are becoming a get-rich-quick society.

Nobody wants to work slow and steady from the bottom to the top.

We are bombarded with scams all over the place.

On the other hand, everyone believes you put some website together, google, facebook, yahoo, you name it comes along, buys you out and that's it.

Millionaire, zipping margaritas, all that stuff.

It might work for a chosen few, not for the masses.

Microsoft paid 8.5 Billion US-$ for a company which is making few money

In my opinion, they simply overpaid for skype. The concept is great, but I do not see a value of 8.5 billion in it.

But there is another thing aside from all this which people barely pay attention to:

This whole system is coming down.

Credit as well.

All these expensive overtakes of companies barely making money by huge conglomerates who do will stop.

Why?

No credit.

Money will be extremely tight.

Companies are not going to have such large cash reserves they do today.

CEOs will not compete with each other for having the largest company and/or takeover.

They mostly will compete for survival in a local environment.
